Continuum of Care (CoC) is a community working together to achieve access to safe and affordable housing for all residents of Genesee County.
Every year, the Flint/Genesee County CoC applies for funding to support local efforts to prevent and end homelessness. Our program is designed to bring awareness and promote communitywide commitment to ending homelessness in Genesee County by providing resources and funding efforts that quickly rehouse homeless individuals, families, and communities while minimizing the trauma and displacement of houseless individuals.
With CoC, the residents of Flint/Genesee County will have the knowledge, skills, and resources to access and maintain permanent housing. We work together in tandem with other organizations in Genesee County––Genesee County CARD, Genesee Health System, My Brother’s Keeper, the City of Flint Michigan, and more to reach one common goal: to put an end to homelessness in Genesee County. We believe our contribution provides the resources and assets individuals need to live fulfilling lives in the community.
